Valve Ribbons
There is no certainty if a water treatment plant valve is open or closed and this ribbon tells that immediately from a long distance as some valves are in difficult locations. Auki = Open, Kiinni = Closed. One water treatment plant required hundreds of valve ribbons, which I manufactured myself.
Swimming Pool Mural
A landscape mural from ceramic tiles to the wall of a swimming pool in a sheltered home in Helsinki. Idea was to add a view to a basement pool with few elements. The wall was completed with the 5 different layers of sea and sky. Smaller details of boats and lighthouses were added on top of the wall. The landscape continues to the light shaft on the left.
Bookmarks. A set of bookmarks for Bibliofiilien Seura Ry. These bookmarks were used as gifts or promotional items in book fairs and other similar events. The blue one on the right was the bestseller. The premium items had ribbons. I also designed the cover for the membership list to look like an old book.
